Jike Zhong

I am currently an engineer with the data science team at Salesforce working on LLM applications for forecasting and planning services.

I did my bachelor's in both Computer Science and Data Analytics (Statistics) at Ohio State University from 2019-2022, during which I was very fortunately advised by Prof. Wei-Lun Chao and worked closely with Dr. Hong-You Chen. I've also spent two summers as an SWE intern with Salesforce and some wonderful time as a research intern at CCVL lab at Johns Hopkins University supervised by Bloomberg Distinguished Professor Alan Yuille.

My current research interest centers around the adaptation, robustness, and reliability of foundation models (VLM, LLM, etc). In a broader term, I'm interested in improving our society with ML, especially focusing on the problems that can be resolved using clean, reliable, and deployable learning-based solutions. With this goal, I have worked on federated learning, weakly supervised learning, and self-supervised learning during my undergrad.

Beyond research, I'm an avid aviation enthusiast and aviation has always been in the heart of my life. Check out my aviation photos taken at over 80 airports worldwide on JetPhotos and Airliners!

Feel free to reach out if you have any ideas to discuss or just wanna have a chat. I can be reached at jikezhon@usc.edu

Misc.

I'm an avid aviation enthusiast. I love spending time at the local airport during vacations as it's always the biggest attraction to me. Till now I've been plane spotting at over 80 airports worldwide, checkout my aviation photos on JetPhotos and Airliners!

I also enjoy classic piano and opera, and my favorite composer is no one but the one, Frederic Chopin.
